Default The 1 G

I know our cars handle, but I think we can only pull high .8's. Would it be possible to have our cars hit close to or even over 1.x g. I believe the exige pulls well over 1 g stock. What can be added to a MY04 to impove upon this? Every opinion is appreciated, unless you say something stupid. I'm not asking for miracles, but seeking a path for greatness. Thanks.

I'll be honest. I don't have a good answer for your question. Realize, though, that pulling 1g on the skidpad is not necessarily a recipe for excellent handling. The skidpad is a cirlce. A track it sets of lefts and rights. Sometimes the quickest car around a track drifts through corners. I don't have all the details, as I am not an expert, but I do know that stiffening the suspension to increase the number of g's you can pull on a skidpad might not give you lower lap times.

Are you looking to improve handling for stock class autocrossing? Perpared or Street Mod class? Or for road course events? Perhaps just for street driving?

Each goal has different methods of achieving it.

Stickier tires and a nice set of coilovers.

Can I do with Titanium springs for now?

Also, how much stickier do they make tires than the stock MY04, I thought they were one step below street slicks?

Though springs "might" help out a bit, they're not nearly as effective as coilovers. As far as the tires go, they are fairly sticky, but there's always stickier.
