I just thought some might be interested to know that the S2000Online.com web server handled 1.1 million hits this past week (the last five days anyway)

It's also interesting that after western europe the most active region is the Middle East including Isreal, Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Actually there is as many visits from Saudi as from Portugal.

Speak up Mid-eastern brothern! I would like to hear about you S2000 adventures.

Krazik installed this nifty web stats package on the server. Now I can bore you with trivial stats

 

damn had no idea we were pulling numbers like that! still feels like a small tight knit group.

 

That's hits, not visits or even pages. There are a minimum of about 18 hits per topic viewed (text plus graphics). We had just under 10K visits in the same period.

But stats generally don't mean much and especially not if you here them from me

 

Amazing, Cthree! I think you've succeeded in making this the #1 world site for our beloved S2000.

 

lets just say that this site is more addictive to some of us than some of the most strongest narcotics out there. that's why i sometimes get on this site once or twice daily. cthree, u r the man. thanks for one of the best sites i've ever been on. long live s2000.

other interesting facts..

On average, over 50% of our traffic comes from Virginia! But I think that is because alot of you people ACTUALLY use AOL!! Shame on you!

Minesota comes in as #2 w/ ~11%?!? And Cali is #3 ~10%.

It isn't exact science figuring out where a user came from. For example, most of AOL's traffic comes from VA, because that is where they have most of their proxy servers. Some other big ISP must have their proxy servers in Minnesota, as I don't recall seeing too many users here claiming to be from that region.
