I bought it new in Feb'00 for over MSRP.
I drive it to work mostly on good weather and have taken it to 2 track events.

It has been a very good 10 months ownership experience; I don't have any grind, clutch noise, or any other major mechanical issues. Am I the only one?

The warranty works are seat belt recall, kick panel (they broke it during seat belt recall fix) and convertible strikers (rattle noise).

I've also had a pretty trouble-free 13 months with my car. The only of the much discussed problems I've seen is the somewhat noisy clutch. I had the new clutch put in and the 1-2 grind fix at the same time. I drive it every day and still get excited thinking about my next drive.

One year and no real problems. 6speed works great and the car gets better every time I take it out.

Over a year, 15000 miles and zero problems.

Nearly 14 months, about 13K miles; no major complaints other than a little right latch rattle which is very fixable. Would I do it again? Damn straight!!

I bought mine in Feb '00 also, have 9500 miles on it. The tranny has been trouble-free. The only problems I've had:

- 2 flat rear tires (punctured by debris)
- Dead stereo (replaced under warranty)

Other than that, the car has worked beautifully!

I've had mine since October of 1999 and have had no problems. Granted in that time I have only put 3,160 miles on it but in that time no complaints.
