1096 Days
Today is the third anniversary of the purchase of my '00 Silver/Black. I still get chills thinking about seeing this car sitting in my driveway that Sunday afternoon. I had to go on a business trip the next day for 3 days and I remember not being able to sleep just thinking about the car. Few things in life have had that much of an affect on me . . . .other than my wife, of course
This will be the first winter outside of CA for the car and it'll be stored as soon as we get a snowfall. Believe it or not, I still stay awake thinking about the S2000 sometimes.

ah,yes...i've had mine since oct 17,1999...still as beautiful as the day it came home...[actually i got to drive it only a bit as i had to leave to spend 3 weeks in japan..made it even harder as even then s2000's were all around tokyo[yes, yellow ones and the REAL blue.]and all i could do was look and know there was one in my garage as home ..waiting.
as i recall i paid enough over sticker to buy a pretty good new car with the markup alone ,but in retrosopect i'd do it again in an instant.

Yes, those were the "good old days", huh? I paid well over sticker for things like $1,800 for paint sealing. It didn't really matter at the time though. I was beyond salvage at that point. Almost no others on the road and the excitement of actually owning this car was palpable.
As I recall, dbw, you were also an early honda-acura.net member. Pretty heady times.
