Default 12.806s - Getting better, I suppose.

Topic says it all. Still had problems hooking up, tried all sorts of things (feathering clutch, feathering gas, launching lower, riding out the wheelhop) and couldn't get any better. This car definitely needs some new wheels/tires. JROSEN said he'd give me his near-bald s-02s, those might help a bit more. 26psi on the tires, fyi.

I don't have the timeslip here, so I can't show the exact numbers, but I do think the 60' time was 2.080 or so. Should definitely be in the 1.9 or 1.8 range.

That was the last test and tune at desoto for the winter, so hopefully in a couple months I'll have new tires and more info for you guys. Can't believe only 7 thousanths shy of 12.7, too. On a good note, I was going for r/ts this evening, and although I redlighted twice, I did land a .505 r/t on one run.

Sweet!

Keep in mind, R/T has absolutely no bearing on E/T. With the 0.505 though, you need to go kick some a$$ in bracket racing

BTW, what RPM and clutch strategy was the launch that yielded the 12.80x E/T?

BTW2, at what point are they going to kick you out for going too fast? I've been asked to leave for much slower times than that

What was your trap speed?

How much PSI are you running?

Very nice Chris but be carful with wheel hop, you'll end up breaking something. I'm sure you'll crack 12.5's with some tires.
