130-150 Mph
I've done 141 with the top down, and 152 (indicated) with the top up. The car was ROCK SOLID at those speeds. I am confused, can car to car variances matter that much? I skydive, and one day the winds were 15+ MPH on the way to my drop zone when I hit 152?? I was able to hold my lane with no problem??? I let off the gas 100% @152, and the car stayed straight and stable. I've hit the brakes hard at 130+ and all that happened was the speed dropped like a rock.It goes without saying that I check all 4 tires for proper pressure and no damage PRIOR to doing high speed runs. Can this be the issue????
Remember than ANYTHING you do at speeds that high should be slowed down considerably.....apply brakes slowly...change lanes slowly....you get the point. Sometimes people forget that the faster your car goes, the slower your actions must go.
Maybe its just me...but my car hits 130+ before I even realize it. Never noticed anything.
