15K service
As far as what's all involved,
.
Seriously... Look thought the list of what's required. Do what you can. Pay someone to do the rest if you feel it's really necessary.
I would imagine the service is not really worth $270 if you can do most or all of it yourself.

Those kind of pitches from dealers about the "recommended" 15k, 35k miles blablabla service is all
. It's another gimmick by stealerships to squeeze a couple more bucks out of you. If you're able to keep the car clean, change the oil at regular intervals and make sure your tires are ok, you can probably avoid the "15K service" or even just do it yourself.

Problem over here is that if you don't let the stealership do the maintenance, you get no stamp in your maintenance book and the in the end the value of your car will be less high, people love the stamps over here so they know the maintenance is done with Honda parts and Honda tech's. Even so, you loose the free lifetime Honda assistance when you have a problem with the car on the road or in a foreigh country when you don't let them do the maintenance
It's all about the money... I have to argue to the dealership every time I get the 'too high' imo bill. And up until now, I always got a refund for some things on the bill that weren't correct

I just finished the 15K on my car and no its not worth $270 unless you really really don't want to crawl under the car and do it. Here's my cost breakdown FYI:
Honda Oil Filter - $8
Mobil1 syn oil - $42
Mobil 1 Gear Oil - $7
Valvoline hand pump for filling fluids - $5
I also did the tranny fluid (not req'd but time for mine):
Honda MTF - $12
Plus a couple tools I didn't have:
socket - $8
wrench - $14
new filter wrench - $14
Time:
2.5 hours
Total for 15K service: ~$110
So yea, not worth $270 unless you don't want to do it yourself for some reason. FYI: I was quoted $350 for mine...lol...

A lot of that goes into labor. Although you can do it yourself over the course of a few hours with a beer in your hand, they are going to take most of the day, and that will cost ya! I remember Audi/VW has a posted $80/hour.
