I agree this would have been the best conclusive testing method.

there is something VERY wrong here. I have a neuspeed exhaust and I am NOT 20hp weaker than all the other cars in the area.

having your peak torque right at VTEC crossover also tells me there is something VERY wrong.

There is something strange here, and I'm not certain it's an exhaust issue.

I'm assuming that Powerhouse runs the Dynojet 247e inertia dyno, correct?

Kwando, I think there might be something wrong with your engine. This all looks very strange. Might want to do a compression/leakdown test, check your plugs, etc.

Nothing was wrong with the plugs. I check on the evening after the first disappointing run.

Your particular exhaust could have a constriction in it. Have you looked at it or 'snaked' it?

At first I thought altitiude correction was the culprit, but then I took a closer look at the graphs. Notice the delta before VTEC and after VTEC. There is atleast a 4X difference after VTEC which leads me to believe that either the exhaust is too restrictive (doubtful) or the car's ECU was doing something funky to spark, fuel and/or timing.

This is my dyno run on the same day as Kwando's by the same operators ~20-30 minutes later...

I want Simon to take his Injen off and do a stock run...I seriously hope he isn't seeing 2-5 hp gain from the CAI...dunno what to think

What type of engineering goes into Neuspeed products?

It seems like many board members have been disappointed with not only the Neuspeed exhausts, but with their sport springs.
