1st oil change myself or let dealer do it.

I am approaching my first oil change (3750 miles), the question is should I do it myself or should I let my local Honda dealer do it?
If I do it myself I am sure to use a quality oil and filter, I am sure that the job will be done, and I am sure the it will be done right. In addition, part of the fun of owning a sportscar is working on it yourself, and I will have some fun.
If I let the dealer do it I don't have to bother with it myself in my cold driveway, I won't have the "muss and fuss" associated with an oil & filter change, and the dealer will have a record of it being done for future warranty considerations.
The dealer has a reasonable reputation, I used this dealer with other Hondas for a number of years. I have everything necessary and just need to get the oil, filter and washer.
Remember this is the first oil change at 3750 miles.
What do you think?

d.i.y. and know it is done right. did my first yesterday @4k+ mi. it was an easy change and you can do it all with the car on the ground. i did jack the f/r to get a better shot @ the drain plug bolt with my torque wrench. make sure your catch pan is at least five quarts capacity too. good luck and keep the shiny side up.

some people like to let the pros do it to save time?
an oil change is a cake walk and should be done by yourself.

I'm lazy. $29.99 and I was in and out of the dealer in sixteen minutes. On top of that, I know the tech who did the work. His girlfriend sings in my band. :-)

I pull mine to the edge of the garage and I can reach up to the oil drain bolt from the front. My driveway goes down away from the garage. Not jacking up the car saves a lot of time, hope you can find a safe way to do the same.
