Default 2.5 vs 3 inch exhaust

I was looking at getting a new exhaust and found a couple that sound pretty good. Ultimate Racing has a 2.5 and a 3 inch set with the stock looking oval tips and then there is the Comptech. I was just wondering if your running N/A and don't plan on going FI, is there any reason for the 3"? Also, was looking for some opinions on the sound diff between the two set ups. Thanks.

I was thinking about doing a little autox in it so I know I can't do anything forward of the cat. So that brings up another question, is there anything out there that I can bolt on to my stock system from the cat back? Is the stock system 2.5"? Thanks.

If I read the rules correctly, to remain in the stock class, you can't mod anything forwrd of the cat. I may be wrong, but that's what I've read. Thanks.

Oh alright... it has something to due with rules. I was thinking that it's just bad in general to mod anything forward the cat. I got the wrong perception of what you were saying. Thanks for asking though...

Thanks,
Andre

3" exhaust is mainly used on turbo cars. I'd go with 2.5" if you're NA.

A single 2.5" is more then adequate for a NA car.
