2 Nails In My S02's Damn it!
One of the nails went in to the side wall and broke a belt, now the tire is ruined. There is a bubble growing in the side of the tire.
Where can I get a new S02 with a quickness?? Do the dealerships stock the tire?? A local tire shop says they can't get them any more!!
Please help..

Got a damn nail in mine yesterday too, construction everywhere here....... Had the tire patched with the best chemical compounds from inside.... Cost me $28 CDN.
At least the tire is as good as new they said, and these guys are specialists.

The consensus on the board, as I remember, is that www.tirerack.com is the cheapest place.
Be sure you get OEM Honda SO2 tires, not regular SO2 or Porsche SO2 or Pole Position SO2. The Honda SO2 tires are the only one that say 89W on the front and 92W on the rear tires.
The OEM Honda 205/55/16 are more narrow than regular SO2 205/55/16 and say 89W. The OEM Honda 225/50/16 are wider than regular SO2 tires in that size and say 92W.
I'd replace BOTH sides if you have any significant miles on the tires. This is especially true for the rear where you want the same diameter tires right and left to minimize damage to the differential.
The tires you want are the first (front) and third (rear) tires on this list.

Call the Tire Rack and dial ext 269 for Connor. He's used to the S2000 tires, had to pretty much learn from the ground up with me (knows his stuff with S2000's WELL now), and has helped out more than a few people here on this board.

If you need them right away, I know Discount Tires has them, but they're not cheap. Also, they usually don't stock them at the local tire shop and they have to be brought in from a central factory. They can usually get them there the same day, unless it's a weekend.
