hi everybody i just want to celebrate 2 years of having such a great piece of car ... thanks to Honda for making these car so perfect , thanks to everyone for the advices and the good and bad comments.... i am very happy because my gwp is 2005 and only have 50 000 kms and looks like new and i will keep it like it was new... 2 years of fun , 2 years of REALIABLE.sometimes i just want to keep these car forever or buy another one , such a great piece of car it feels like you are on a racetrack everytime you drive it , damn i just cant found any other car that makes me feel like my s2000.

saludos a todos y gracias por todo
First, let me just say that I totally agree with you. Over the weekend, I had a chance to go for a little ride in the E92 M3. I was pleasantly surprised with the car's ride (I've yet to drive it) and I came away thinking, "I wonder if I can convince my wife to let me replace the S already?" (Note: My car is less than a year old and is a 2009 CR)Then I got back in my car and went for a little ride and all those thoughts went away. I REALLY love this car...

Next, let me just tell you how much I enjoy reading your posts. I know English is not your first language; but I'd be lying if I said I didn't smile every now and again when I read some posts. In the post above, "...great piece of car" got me smirking. Mainly because usually when I hear "...piece of..." I immediately follow it up with "shit." But you went with "car." Brilliant.

Anyway, congrats on your two years of fun... I hope you enjoy it for a long time to come.

i am going on 8 years now...sometimes in life you run accross something that is so naturally good that you cannot believe it and vow to never replace it...i feel that way about my favorite jacket, swiss army knife i carry, keychain since 1972, and some other stuff...the honda fits that bill.

in past i have changed cars every 2-5 years depending on quality, a warranty is no good to me if the car is crap and spends too much time in the shop.

this car just sings with satisfaction for me, the only other car i have driven that tops it is the boxster S and i have a nice fat wallet due to not spending the 25,000 more to get one. sure now they are used and plentiful but the honda just keeps satisfying over nad over again, ever day.

I love my G35 more than anything, and I don't regret replacing my S with it...but sometimes I really miss that thing.

What attracted you to the G over the S? I test drove a G37 and I thought what a really Nice car but on the other hand it just did not seem exciting next to the S or even the VW GTI I drove next .

Just hit 2 years of ownership in January. That's longer than I've held onto a car for quite a while.

Still loving the S!
