2000 or 2001 S2000, what's the diff???
- Model year 2000 did not have a clock. Per Honda, it was intentionally left out due to the race car theme. It became standard equipment on 2001 model.
- Model year 2000 offered wind deflector as an option; it became standard with the 2001.
- Red floor mats became available.
That's it...... but your odds of getting a trouble free car are better with the '01. The number of TSB's on the first year car were very high, they went down in '01, and even less in '02.

Muz (another sponsor) sells a one-piece model that bolts directly to the glove box - no OEM bracket required. Might wanna check that one out too.
I drove for a year without one, and now that I've added it I can't go back.
I belive there is also trunk release in the inside. A little handle to pop the trunk incase you get locked inside. And also the airbag sensor for the passenger. Passenger air bag deactivates when a baby seat is in place. But that might be a change in 2001 or 2002.
