Has anyone with a 2001 model have a a tranny grind? or clutch decel noise?...and do the 2001's have the seatbelt problem?...in other words...are all the problems with the 2000's resolved already in the 2001's?

no probs *yet*..although there is some kinda weird noise when i dec..it sounds like a small rattle..dunno if that's normal or what..i guess i'll sit on it a bit more but other than that it's ok so far..i think anything will be better than my old car ('95 talon tsi)..ugh, those things were horrible for reliability!!..well, hope for the best!
