2001 S2000 Radio Code
I recently got a 2001 S2000
I unplugged by battery and now i need my radio code.
Its not in any books, or anywhere that i can see.
How long should this code be?
Where can i get it besides honda?
That 1 & 6 trick does not work, it comes up with "0"
Thanks

The card that came you materials looks like a credit card, only thinner, it's made of plastic
if you can't find it, the dealer might have put the sticker somewhere in the car, look inside the glovebox, secret compartment, trunk, fuse box -- those are the usual places
otherwise you are in for a hassel, you have to bring the car in and they will pull the radio to get the serial number from the HU so they can get the code, I was quoted $90 to pull the HU
Bottom line is if you are going to pull that POS out, you should NOT put it back in because it sucks, ANY aftermarket HU will be better

thats what i am thinking at this point
im not really a big sound system guy, but i guess changing my head unit is the best bet
I just love the driver controls
I know there is an adpation kit, but so much $$ for nothing especially because i dont care about the quality of the sound, I just listen to the engine, its more for my g/f, lol

The VIN will not work UNLESS you go back to the dealership the car was first sold from. And if you bought it from a private party, chances are...well.
But I visited a dealership and the 100% surefire way to get your code is to pull your deck out. On the deck is a serial number, I think it's on a sticker. Give that serial number to a dealer and they can give you the code. It's free, so if the first dealership gives you hassles, call or visit another one. You can find out how to pull out the deck but visiting the FAQ in the electronics forum.

I was in the same situation and found mine on the inside of the glovebox door.
it's just a small white sticker with only a number on it. I think it was 6 or 8 digits.
