Default 2002-2003 headlight pic request

I'm looking for a new S to replace my 2003, and the dealer here had a 2002 lease return, sebring/red with 32K.

Anyway, looking at the lights, they were all scratched up, and I looked further and the silver ring around the projector was not as pronounced as I remember. I know that 00-01 has a silver area on the inner part, but the 02-03 has a very pronounced silver ring.

Also, the driver side rims were all scratched up and looked didn't have the champagne hue the others had. I think someone decided to update their 00-01 and turn in this car with the old parts.

BTW, this was a certified car which they were asking 23,000 for. And they would not back down.

So, I'm wondering where I can find a close up pic. I have had a 01 and a 03 so I'm not ignorant...I just can't go out and look at my 2003 as it is gone.

Thanks, but I was hoping for something a little closer.

The 00-01 has a silver area bordering the projector, but the 02-03 is more pronounced. From kraka's pics, it does appear that the 02 on the lot had the wrong lights.

There's a lot of 02's in Orlando in the 20K area. I'm off to Orlando tomorrow; hopefully I come back with a car.

I didn't even know that the 00-02 and 03 had different headlights.

As far as I know the 03's had different taillights with crome around the brake lights

If they wont budge on the price, walk away. I wouldnt pay that even if the car was flawless, but apparently that is not even an issue. Just keep looking. There are definatley better deals out there.

I'm going to look at 4 tomorrow in Orlando.

02 blue with 30K for 19.5K
01 yellow 28K for same price at same dealer...I'd assume I could get that down
03 silver 30K 21500
03 red 30K 21500
02 blue with 30K for <20K

AP1s all have the SAME headlight (2000-2003 have same style headlights).

The AP2s have a much more pronounced ring around the projector (2004-2006).

Theres a pic of the AP2 headlight.

It could be that someone swapped AP1s with AP2s.
