Default 2002 clutch and PP really better?

I checked with Trevor about the 2002 clutch and he says they have a different part number but he wasn't sure whether they were indeed improved versions of not.
Considering the price

The disk $73.38
the pressure plate $163.01
the pilot bearing $8.24
the release bearing $73.09

I woudl go with the new stock (if it is indeed improved) than more expensive reworked aftermarket units.

Any of you know for sure?

An excerpt from hondanews.com

Amongst other changes already mentioned, the transmission has been reportedly refined for smoother and quieter operation, and a new "high-capacity clutch". (I wonder if that's what I'd get when my clutch gives up the ghost). Also, barely visible in this photo, you can see the chrome trim rings in the taillights.

And from buyautosonline.com

Excess drivetrain momentum and flex can interfere with throttle response and control, especially when cornering, so Honda engineers designed a highly rigid drivetrain and lightened clutch and flywheel for the S2000.

-- claims a lighter flywheel too?

The proper way to do a clutch is to replace or resurface all friction surfaces so you have to consider the flywheel as well.

the aftermarket versions of the clutch disk and pressure plates aren't that much more expensive if you are looking at stock prices. Trevor's prices are great, but if I were going to that much trouble, I'd just go ahead and upgrade it to a Star Clutch system with a Toda Flywheel.

But that's my take on it.

Man... this is confusing...
How much would the Toda flywheel and the star clutch (street version) unit run?

Toda flywheel runs $480 (with free shipping).

Star clutch information can be found here:

Im getting my clutch setup done as I write this. Went with the ACT street clutch/ACT HD Pressure plate and the Toda flywheel.

I bought the ACT stuff from bulletproof (Thanks Ben, it was delivered on time and with no fuss).

I ordered the Toda flywheel through modacar ($475) and in stock (Which was a bonus for me because I needed the parts asap as the clutch was slipping severly).
