Actually, they will eventually cut themselves off, although like xviper said, you will not be able to start the car on it's own power.

speaking of lights.. for euro models? daytime running lights? which light stays on? the high beam?

 

Speaking of Lights, while at the dealer for major work. They left the dome light on. It had the same auto-off as the headlights. They just put a new battery in and wrty the old one.

The pic in your sig, so as I read this thread I have this mental pic going, I could hear you screaming at the computer in frustration "Stinks!", "God!". Can we assume that you were late for work this morning?

 

actually, I was just curious. I like how the TL's turn their lights on when you unlock the door. I never left them on for good though.
