I wonder when the i-VTEC system will be incorperated into the S2000? I heard that after 2004, ALL Honda engines (ARE?) i-VTEC. Is that true????

I also have heard from people who drove both the RSX and S2000 that they can't really FEEL the VTEC kicks in on the i-VTEC motor. May be that could take the fun out of the regular VTEC F20C??? Even though it's actually gaining some lower end torque early.

I am first on the list for a 2003 S2000 at Leith in Raleigh NC. No info on colors yet. I am told to expect the car in November.

I have also heard of the i-VTEC in the 2004 models, even a Type R, with some more torque to the car.

Honda should just put a 3.0 V6 into the car. 8000 redline.
Targa. That would be sweet. Maybe eventually...
For now, I have to stick to my 400hp WRX.

ya, i also heard that i-vtec is no where near as fun as vtec. i love the feel of the sudden burst of power the car gives, and the sound is music to my ears.
