I am looking to trade my 2001 MR2 Spyder for a S2000. The dealer nearby has a 3 2003s that are left over. One still has the transport plastic on it. What is a realistic price for the car? Its already half a year old on the lot. They must have a factory hold back and rebates due to being an older model year. Not to mention its a model prior to a few changes in the 2004.

I was thinking somewhere around $28000. Another thing to add is that I am in Michigan, heavy American car emphasis and cold cold winters!

I am trying to work a deal with a local dealership for a 2003 berlina and need some input on a price that is fair to both me and the dealer. I need to make a decision on the car by the weekend so please everyone share some opinions.

 

Tell them you want the 03 for $30k OTD with TT&L included and see what they do.

 

28000 OTD! Not a penny more a penny less.

It's already a two year old car in terms of resale value.
