Of course, the worst mistake in the '03 brochure is showing what is supposed to be an '03 Silverstone with the black/red interior. Last I heard, all the '03 cars showing up with red interiors had the '02 style ALL RED interiors in them.

As a marketing communications person (in charge of making brochures), I think it is a pitiful excuse for a brochure. Pretty, yes, but not technically accurate. I mean, look at the poor car showing VTEC with only 26 miles on it (same photo as home page of this site). I think they've been using that photo since the beginning.

I'm pretty sure I know why this is so, however. The S2000 is probably the lowest volume car Honda builds and sells (ergo few $$$ spent on marketing and promotion compared to, say, Civics and Accords). I'd bet the product manager in charge of it doesn't even get any input into the marketing materials that are created. They probably have some graphics person who's told - yep, we have new colors, please crank out a new brochure that matches all the other 2003-year brochures.

Still no excuse!

 

I saw it too and then lost it. go to the page that says"hit it" on the bottom. theres a "half page" on the right page. the blue one is under it.

 

Actually, Silverstone was brought back for the year 2003.
