2003 S2000 slower than the rest?

2003 S2000 slower than the rest?

I keep hearing the 2003 S2K is slower than all the other years. Is this true and if so can someone please tell me why because from what I know is that Honda added the option of tan interior and thats not a good reason why is could be slower.

Actually you are correct. In order to produce tan interior you have to use the hide from a special type of cattle. These cattle used for this leather often carry more fat and body mass. This results in much thicker, heavier leather which in turn makes the 2003 S2000 slower.

Oh wait, 2003 did not have tan leather during that model year. It came out in 2004. I'm such a dope.
