Now that a whole new line of sports cars are coming out (Rx8, evo, 350z), will honda do anything to compete in 2003? Has anyone heard any rumors or anything about it??

Well, if they don't, I imagine that it will simply soften the market for S2Ks...

Any thoughts?

<sigh>

This board is FULL of rumors, but the truth is - that's ALL they are. Honda is very tight-lipped about future models and the only people who know exactly what will change for any given year are the people who work for Honda in Japan (none of whom tell anyone on this board anything).

They better not change anything. I just got my car this week. :-)
I know there are some new cars coming into the market, but they are not exactly in the same segment. None of them are roadsters. On top of that the s2k market has already soften. Now you can easily get $1800 below MSRP with free goodies. So yeah I am gonna be hella pissed if they start selling the car at invoice or even below. Anything can happen. Only need to wait and find out.

LIL Raja, where'd you get such a deal for your S2K? I'm in the same area (Reston) looking to buy sometime this summer.

Thanks.
