hello fellow s2k members, i've been looking into buying a used s2k.. Is there any difference between 04 and 05? that i should know?

question strikes me when i asked my ins what would the pricing be and the 04 came higher then the 05?

 

As far as is generally known, they are the same car.

 

i thought so too.. but..is there a safety feature thats added on the 05?
it bugs me that.. i have to pay more for 04..

 

There is no safety features added to the 2005 model. The 2004 and 2005 model are the same car. The 2006 and 2007 has VSC.

Only thing I could think of is any recalls that 2004 models had, and 2005 probably would have those fixed (not sure if there were any recalls on the AP2 tranny).

Maybe we got DRL in 05.

 

DRL were 06. 04-05 are the same.
