2004/2005 Steering Wheel S badges Here!
After nearly a year of trying, we've finally produced and have in stock our steering wheel S badges for 2004/2005 MY cars. The badges are in stock and are available for immeidate shipment now for the same price as our 2000-2003 MY SW badges: $25. You can order and find more information here http://www.ricks2k.com/products/swbadge.php
This has been another cooperative project. Since I have a 2001, I had to rely on several 2004 and 2005 owners to provide detailed drawings of the badge shape and size. Others also did some test fitting of prototypes. And a final test fitting from the production run was done today.
To the two owners who helped me last year by providing drawings of the stock badge space, I'm sorry to say I've lost your contact information. You're entitled to free badges, so please contact me at rick@ricks2k.com.
Here's one of the first photos of the new badge. These were taken at night, so we'll have new photos taken in daylight to post tomorrow.

Installation is a breeze. The badges come with an adhesive on the back, so all you do is clean the surface of the stock badge, position the new S badge in place over the stock badge, and press it into place.

No. When the airbag deploys, the bag cover splits and moves aside, with the badge still attached. If there was any risk of the badge becoming a projectile, we never would have made them.
The s' badge itself is covering aluminum....The badge is a "soft plastic"? I presume?....Even if it did become a "projectile" (Which it wont) I would much rather soft plastic hit me in the head...then maleable aluminum...Ohh and when the airbag deploys it splits below the H emblem

You're far more likely to end up with the Honda H logo mashed into your forehead. Then you'll face a possible lawsuit from Honda, or at least nasty letters from their attorneys, for unauthorized use of Honda's intellectual property
