Default 2004 engine,worth anything?

i have a 2004 s2k engine,complete with head,intake and exhaust.
the bottom end started knocking and found the thrust bearing had spun, was in the oil pan and the block were the bearing was is all
scraped out,is this fixable?
the engine only has 27000kms on it.
i have another engine in the car now,but just wondering if its worth to sell or rebuild?

I would say that the 04 engine is one of the best, just because it's the 2.2L but it's also not BDW

^I would say the 06+ dbw engines are better than the 04-05 engines because they can use flashpro.

thats what i put in the car was an 06 f22c1. but i had to change the intake, exhaust cam pulser, crank pulser, crank sensor, valve cover, and harness, ecu from the 04. the car works great, but the engine light is on for the air pump and cat converter.

I believe it is not worth to rebuild F20/F22 engine.

I'd be interested in the cylinder head as long as a piston didn't smash it.

What's so great about the flashpro? You can still tune a 00 to 05.
