Default 2004 front grill inserts

I've been looking for grill inserts for the MY04 style front bumper, but no luck so far. Grill Tech and others only make them for previous models and I can't seem to find even a knock off for the 04.

Has anybody done this or know where to get them?

Coastal Metals has said they're working on one, but so far as I know they haven't released anything yet.

Buck Reddington - aka Bucks Grills had begun to work on an MY04 template but I haven't heard from him in about 2 months - I'll send him an email & see if he dropped the ball or is going to move forward...

Try Lee (S2000GT). He has a template and installation instructions. Got it for mine and it looks great.

thought most s2k owners stayed away from grills, there was another thread about this and most owners did not like the grill look, just a thought to consider.

Honestly, I just want the two side pieces to cover up the fake ports Honda gave us. I think it would look a little cleaner and possibly look functional.

on honda's design team who keeps these on. Not that they're ugly, but seriously, how hard would it be to just make a freakin' hole there. I'm not complaining about functionality. I just hate when the uselessness(sp?) is obvious.

You know, If there was a chrome or black grill there you wouldn't notice that there is a big plastic plug in the hole for the vents at the sides of the bumper opening therefore making them look like they perform a function---possibly look functional

Dunno where you got that impression. A significant amount of local owners have grills on our S2000s. Maybe it's a regional thing?
