I went to pick up my new 04 Silverstone. Everything was all set and then . . . . . I needed to get a Georgia Drivers License. I recently moved from Texas and still have my Texas license. IT SUCKED!!! I had to say bye to my new S2000 and go home alone. Fortunately I was able to snap some photos to help heal the pain until my car is delivered to my house tomorrow!!!

I will upload the pics shortly.

I also managed to snap some shots of a new red 04. I was shaking with excitement and the low lighting didnt help make the pictures any clearer. Sorry about the poor quality.

I want to thank everyone who participates on this site. It think it is the best website I have ever found. A year ago I had my heart set on buying an Audi S4. I test drove an A6 at a used car lot about 6 months ago and was not too impressed with the performance. The salesman suggested that I take their 2001 S2000 with 50K miles on it for a spin. It was love at first rev. I knew I had to have one of these cars once I had the means to afford it. After being very psyched after the test drive, I went online to find more information on the S2000. I stumbled upon this site and have checked it every day since. Thanks for the wealth of knowledge you guys have given me, the cool things that you showed me, and the passion for the S2000 that you have instilled in me. I am sooo excited to finally be able to relate to the S2000 experience.

The new S2000 looks even better in person. I was taken back by the power of it.

Why couldn't you buy a car with a Texas license? Doesn't make sense to me - lots of people on here buy out-of-state cars while holding an out-of-state license....
