I think the 2.2 L S2000 will be a roadster and a "2.2 L S2200 Coupe" will be released in the spring after the January, 2004 Detroit Auto Show.

Barry

Do you know something that I don't. What have you heard that makes you believe the S2200 will be a Coupe?

Some people (myself included) would buy the S2000 with a hardtop because we'd never put the top down anyway. Windows up, A/C on, that's how I drive - the driver's window only goes down at the ATM and the drive-thru.

Having a coupe means no body shake, rattles from the top or top mechanism or squeaks from top seals rubbing against the windows.

Maybe.

Rattles seem to appear out of nowhere in practically every sports car I've ever driven- convertible or not.

I understand why many people would want a coupe version of the S, but it's just not for me. I love driving with the top down.

I'd give anything to get an S 2200 coupe.

A hardtop, more midrange torque, and a more compliant suspension without a loss in handling would be perfect, the car I'd keep and love for the rest of my life.

Please Honda, build this car.
