2004 supercharger and exhasut?
I have read conflicting posts about the stock exhaust system and adding a S.C. I am looking into a new 2004 S2000 and am putting together a few different budgets.
My quetion, if I install and aftercooled Comptech S.C and do not upgrade the header and cat-back, apprx. how much hp am I missing out on. If the answer is less then 20 hp, I would not even consider it being that the two mods are gong to cost me close to 2 grand on top of the 6 for the S.C . Plus I would like to keep the look and sound of the stock exhasut, any thoughts. Thanks
One other question whiel i'm here. Is Gainley Honday the way to go for the cheapest price. I have gotten soem numbers from them, but have not shopped around for dealers in NY. Any thoughts, will i be able to beat an MSRP of 30,999. Thanks

From my extensive experience on this board, I do not think I have ever seen better prices or better service than Jeff (hardtopguy) at Ganley Honda. Just do a search for people's experience with him- you wont be disappointed.
P.S. I am in no way associated with him or his business.

I am not an SC expert, but I think you will be fine with just the SC, keeping everything else stock. The only thing u may need attention to is the stock clutch. I would say u'd be better off investing the money on an aftermarket clutch.
BTW, I bought a front lip from Ganley Honda b4 and it was a great experience.
Fast shipping and great product.

So I have no doubt that hardtop guy and Ganley Honda provide great service and are great to deal with. However I think they are in Ohio right? You're in NY, which means transportation issues, how are you going to get it to you and how much does it cost? One big point to consider is that you generally get better service when you take your car in to the dealer you bought it from. Why? They want to make sure that you're happy with your purchase and system so that you will either recommend friends to buy from them or buy your next car from them. I'm sure Ganley is great but there are bonuses from buying locally!
