Question and poll options are a little defferent.

Subject 2004. Would you rather have a HIGHER redline or more torque?
Your post: 2004. Would you rather have a 9000 redline...

Or maybe just a hard day has it`s bad influence on my brains...

There is enough redline... More torque will translate more "power feel" to that drivers who don't know how to drive the S...

...and so, the sales will raise, and then, every Dick, Peter and Harry LOL will have an S2K, and... and...

..mmaybe will be better the higher redline, then, but... we are car drivers, not bike drivers, that will be more closer to a motorbike and I dont like that... (I've never been attracted by bikes)...

So... WELL... DONT TOUCH THE S!, Let it BE *AS IS*

I would NOT be willling to trade torque for less revs. If they can give me a wider power band, then that's a different story.

Give me torque anyday.

RPMS is just a meaningless number you can brag about down at the local tavern.

Torque is something you can brag about down at the local racetrack.

Word to that! 25 more pounds distributed nicely will not make you miss 500 rpm at all.

Here's what I would love: current torque but a 10k rpm redline with appropriate gearing. That'd give about 265hp, I think. Now that's definitely something you'll be able to make good use of at the local track.
