So in all honesty these thread aren't very useful. If you paid cash outright(i.e no lease, no loans) and didn't trade anything in then the price you paid matters and is a real indicator of something.

If you got a loan, lease or trade in a car on the deal this isn't a good indicator of anything. With a load a $32,000 purchase price can be a substantially better deal than a car with a $29,000 purchase price if the interest rate is lower on the $32,000.

The most important thing when buying a new car is getting a good deal. It is a common tactic among salesmen to give you a good purchase price and significantly jack up interest rates/devalue trade in.
You can end up paying more with a lower purchase price because of this!

The idea of this thread is to get some feel for what dealerships have the '05 and at what price.

This is pretty good leveraging power when you're negotiating the price at your local dealer.

That's why it's going to be useful for me in my case, seeing that my local dealer wants close to $34,000 for it.

I got an offer for 31950 for an 05 Sebring/Red. I've been waiting for this combo for about two months. I want to get it for 31000 flat, should I hold out? Its totally brand new with only 11 miles on it. It was hard to find one with so few miles at the local dealerships when I started to look. Also no one had the red interior but most had Sebring/Black. Thanks.
