Howdy all,
Well it finally happened. Hit a deer....freakin ay!!!...
Looking to confirm some part #'s
Contacted hondaautomotiveparts.com and got the following info;
used my vin# and called to confirm with the parts ordering folks;
front bumper - 04711-S2A-A92ZZ
hood - 60100-S2a-A92ZZ
With your experience I was hoping someone who has ordered or dealt with these parts can confirm fitment.

Actually the link to that "stealership" just happens to be local to me here in Massachusetts. But ya, I can imagine to ship them would have been hundreds of dollars for sure...so I saved money there....
So far, just under $800. for hood, front bumper, grill and bumper beam.

Why isn't your insurance company doing this?
As for the parts: Hood seems to be the same part for every model year. Front bumper for all 2004 and later. Then ya gotta get it painted and all the hardware mounted.
I doubt any of the on-line parts dealers stock this part but just order it from Marysville when you order it from them. Which is why if it's out of stock at one dealer it's out of stock everywhere 'cuz it's only stocked (if at all) at the warehouse.
I bought my front lower spoiler from Majestic in Rhode Island years ago when I lived in Ohio. Box came out of the Marysville OH warehouse but instead of sending it 100 miles up the road to Cleveland OH they shipped it to Rhode Island to the dealer who promptly shipped it back to me in Ohio and charged me for OH to RI to OH freight. At least you're close to the MA dealer.

A few years ago a deer hit me
ran across the road bounced off the windshield
It happened so quickly, what I didn’t understand was why my hood wasn’t bent
Brought it to body shop, the technician asked me if it was a doe or buck, I had no idea because it was so fast
He wanted to know if he had to look for holes from the antlers
The damage was minimal I think it was around $2500
The deer jumped and dented the two fenders they were repaired and hood was replace
I was lucky

Guessing insurance cut a check from their adjusters quote, and since a huge part of that is labor, which isn't diy difficult in this case since hood and bumper bolt on, he is looking to diy it, and pocket some change.
Warning. Ins has really worked to minimize thir expenditures when someone doesn't bother to get stuff fixed and just pockets whole check. Now their adjuster will quote super low, with expectation body shop will report more damage and they'll pay without too much fuss. But if no body shop, no extra expenditure.
Caution is if diy, if you find more damage, too bad for you. Ins isn't going to cover it once you cash check.
Only way to make diy work is not cash check, diy all the work quickly, and if anything more found, put it back together and abandon diy plan. Bring it to licensed body shop.
If diy works out, cash check only after work completed.

Regarding the insurance company. Well, as the story goes, someone said to me they thought that in Massachusetts that deer, or animals strikes are considered "accidents" and when reported would cause your insurance to go up, and or incur some kind of surcharges.
Not wanting to even take the chance...AND....I just plain enjoy wrenching, I decided to do the job myself. It will be a fun winter project.
Picked up the parts yesterday and will be slowly but surely putting it back together. The challenge after that will be "PAINT"...
I have done custom painting of motorcycle tins in thew past so I have the painting skills needed for this. It's really the paint booth that I don't have set up any longer. So I may choose to "DIP" the front clip and match it as best as possible to the remainder of the car...OR....I may DIP the whole car....we'll see.
