Default 2006 Frankfurt IAA, S2000

Fellas,
First time caller. Before I was able to purchase my 04 (after selling my 968) I had to move to Stuttgart for a work assignment. Deshalb muss Ich fuer meinen S2000 warten (Musswarten ID). Therefore I have to wait till Dec 06 before I can get back to the States to purchase one. Of course I too am not a huge fan of the drive by wire systems (may be forced to purchase a used 04/05). I have driven M3s and M5s at a couple of performance driving schools and the response was great however here in Europe I have driven a rental Mercedes and the lag was so bad that I was unable to blip the throttle for a matched downshift. Lets hope the Honda version is as good as the BMWs (new MX-5 is also drive by wire, I have pictures of that too).
I have pictures of the motor, interior, headrests (with speakers in roll hoops), center console, trunk, VSA switch and the controversial wheels. However, if someone could let me know a pic hosting site or how you usually post your pics I will get them loaded.
I should note that this is the euro version with the 2.0L motor and headlight washers. There was no sign of the tonneau cover as main focus for Honda was primarily the new Civic. I also spoke with one of the Honda reps over the 06 changes and she mentioned a reduction in the shifter throw...take that one with a grain of salt. She had not driven an 05 but she said the throttle response was instantaneous.
Thanks!

Musswarten - Any signs of the rumored speedster hard tonneau? It was rumored to debut at the Frankfurt IAA. I have been looking for pics of it, but havent had any luck yet.

I saw no signs of the tonneau cover within in the proximity of the car. I should have asked the Honda lady, I also forgot to look for the bumper manufacturing defect. There was only one S2000 which was parked next to a race version (no pictures, camera died). However, there were probably 11 of the new civics for people to try out.
