2006 S2000!
heres some more info flying around for you all who are curious to know about the future prospects of the S2000. Check this this thread.

'06 S2000 & S1000
That "06" looks like a cross between a Mitsu Eclipse Spyder and a Lexus ES330--- blehh!
That S1000 looks interesting, but I'd rather just get a Miata if I wanted something really really light and underpowered.

I have to agree with Paul.
The sketch of the '06 S2000 looks awful. Take a sports car with gorgeous classic lines and spoil it with some futuristic look inspired by the old Triumph TR7 (remember them?) but gone bloated and curvy.
The S1000 is attractive but is underpowered. Off the top of my head, I can't recall the horsepower of the Miata but isn't it at least 140 HP? Pontiac is coming out with a Soltice in the fall of '05 which will have 170 HP. To make the S1000 light enough to compete it'd have to be a skate board.

Thank goodness that is just another con job. If they ever pull the windscreen rake back that far there is no way you'll see me in one of those.
What's the point of a convertible if your head is half covered by the windscreen??
