Phewww, I'm exhausted from reading all these emails, but I'll give my 2 cents as well.
I don't like the DBW, I owned a G35 with this feature and it was horrible. Delays between downshifts and a lack of feel in the throttle watered down the experience.
Traction control, probably a plus. I spun out an S2000 on a similar corner at a similar speed that I used to take in my 04 G35 and 1997 BMW M3. The traction control on the M3 was superb, engaging only when you needed it. The G35 traction control was over aggressive, watering down the experience when you wanted to push it. Although both would have probably saved me from spinning out in the s2000, I hope Honda is more like the BMW and less like the G35.
The seats, wheels, console are a negative. The plus of an S2000 is a clean, light, sexy look. None of the upgrades add to that. A black console too? Why leave the stereo door silver and change the console to black? The interior used to flow better all silver and without a stupid button between roof and emergency.
The temperature gauge and pod speakers are a plus, although speakers in the roll hoops limits the upgrades.
Two points that have been made that are worthwhile. Lack of hole in the headrest will warm up the freezing neck. Second, temperatures gauges don't add weight and I would like to have one. People say put the top down and feel it out. Sometimes the temperatures swing violently in a short amount of time and I would love to know what the true difference is, not just that my neck is now freezing.
BMW's E36 Astoril Blue (sp?) is more attractive and Honda should have aimed for that.
Ok, ok one last thing. Someone said the Z interior is cheap and G35 is nicer. WRONG, the G35 is so gimmicky and disgusting. Rattles like crazy, too many dumb @ss gizmos and buttons cluttering things up (if you don't agree, look at one with the nav system in it). One of the main reasons why I switched to an S2000 was to return to functional simplicity. I don't want my car to be like one of those made in taiwan stereos from the 80's where they spelled out frequency modulation just to have more writing on it. Honda should keep it simple and clean.
I do not think this is accurate. I think Honda sold a reasonable number of Suzuka/Nurburgring...
Sorry for the confusion, I just meant that the old blue is still available like Jonas said. My point was that since he didn't like the new blue he can just get the old blue instead.
Falcon: I agree that the DBW can be bad. I'm hoping Honda did a good job with it but we wont know for a little longer yet. I've driven good, and bad, DBW systems so I'm just hoping that it'll be good.

When exactly did they drop the claimed horsepower to 237???
Is this another "advantage" of the 2.2 engine?
this has been posted several times................
HP is now stated at 237 - due to the auto industry wide change in how HP is calculated**
New Horsepower Ratings to Level the Field in Performance
The Society of Automotive Engineers has standardized a horsepower measuring system, requiring several automakers to take a critical look at their more subjective output assertions. Toyota and Honda, in particular, have had to downgrade the horsepower ratings of some of their vehicles from the 2005 to 2006 model years as a result of this new system. Even though it features the same 3.0-liter V6 engine, the Toyota Camry has seen its output rating reduced in one model year from 210 to 190 horsepower. As the Detroit News notes, though, the new SAE horsepower standards have worked in favor of some companies
