Default 2007 strange noise

My 07 Rio yellow is making a noise. It seems like a steel rubbing noise. Happening right above the or around the left ear. Happens while driving.

Is it coming from the top?

Worth a visit to the dealer? Can't tell where it is coming from. Other than that, car is rock solid, with no other squeeks or rattles.

Appreciate the help

Coming from the top - needs to be greased. You can do it or have the dealer do it under warranty.

yea. i have that noise a little bit too. I thought it was my fault, because one time I happent to have the top partially open without closing the latch and the winds was like pusshing it out. So maybe because of me. If the dealer can fix it, let me know.

Will drop of car in the morning. Will take 3 hours at local dealer. They said it is a service bulletin for the sound.

No loaner, but will give me a ride.

Is there a list of these service bulletins somewhere? I'd like to check my car.

My '07 top doesn't make any noise, but my '02 did. Try putting the top down about half way. Inspect all of the contact points. See if there are any areas where there appears to be rubbing(bare metal exposed). If there is, take a piece of sticky felt from a fabric store, and place it on the rubbed area. Your problem sound a bit different, but it's worth a look.
