What are you suggesting taking out of it? If anything it just looks maybe a little desaturated towards the bottom and the light coming from above is the only reason it is casting a warm glow from the top, which is part of what I think makes that image so powerful.
Just over the curb on the right of the shot, look at the metal sign post, in front of the right column. Whatever was there was just painted over, not stamped out. Its a great shot, but its obvious there's something there.
I have a question. I've got some great photos from the SCCA Solo 2 Nationals of my car in action. Obviously, since I was busy driving, I didn't take the pictures.
Is a credit given for the photographer, in addition to the user ID who owns the car? The photographer has asked that he be credited for the photo - which seems a perfectly reasonable request to me.
The idea here is really to submit your own photos - shots by professionals and non owners kind of defeats the purpose of an owner's calendar.
The bylines will state what the S is, some short info if any on the car, the location, the owner's real name, S2ki name, and can include a credit for a photographer - no problem there, but they need to know this is a not-for-profit calendar and they have no rights to it.
You don't see a dark spot on the right side of that picture? Right beside the fence.
yeah, the photo is so small its hard to tell if the sign is covered up or somehow it is just in a dark shadow or it was just covered up to look like its a shadow. I didn't pay that attention at first because I thought when he said painted he was referring to the color fade so I didn't even focus on that sign part. I think we'd need a bigger version to zoom in and see better whats really going on there.
