Default 22mpg in the 95*+ heat

All on an engine with only 300 miles! WOW, I love this car! I can have cake and eat it too!

The S is already getting 3-4 more miles per gallon than my 04 TL I used to have. I am guessing once the engine is solidly broken in it will get better? Or, once I get past 600 miles and can get in the VTEC will my mileage go down since I can drive it with more ooomph? I can't wait for my first 8k redline shift

Btw, I don't mean to sound like a gas miser, I just think its great this car gets that good mileage from basically a race engine.

I just turned 7000 miles after seven months and made a run up to Amarillo last week. Got 28 mpg going up and 27.5 mpg coming back with a headwind doing a nice steady 75 mph. I've been getting about 23 mpg around town this summer. It gets about the same mileage my GTI VR6 gets.

I get 23-25. Same region.

However, I did notice I have been running top up since it has been very hot and humid here recently. With and topup/ac, I achieved 26.9mpg.

AC is better for gas mileage than top town. Those who argue just dont know physics. (unless you are stuck in traffic) This is only highway driving.

Yep I've been getting 22-23mpg. with top down and A/C on during the LA heatwave over the past few weeks with temps around 103-110.
