The JDM S does have 250 ps (247 hp) and 11.7 CR. You can easily run this CR on 93 0ctance. The Prosche GT3 also has 11.7 CR and the Porsche GT has 12.0 CR and both are being imported to the US with thoses CRs. By law, the car has to be able to run on 91 as 93, 95 and 100+ is not availible everywhere and 91 minimum is. So a 12 CR can run on 91 oct.

I know of a highly modied H22 running 13 CR that will runs on 93 oct.

The JDM 247 hp is due to the CR and additional tunning. The tunning would not pass US emissions, thus we do not get it .

Besides, we all know the JDM always gets a little more than we do... the NSX-R, the RSX-R, the Prelude type S, the Accord-R, etc..

Yeah it's true... they do get 250 hp over in Japan

Not sure EXACTLY how but someone on the board knows
