mine is black/black 8908
I have no evidence of any of the tranny shift problems and I did not follow the break in strictly and have missed some downshifts and hit limiter on upshifts I now have about 5k miles.
Car runs great.. do you think its possible that tsb was taken care of prior to delivery on 8/28?

cant really count on the 4 digit Vins to coun the cars in the US since some of these may have ended up outside of the US.

The last four of mine is: 6342

So, if this was to number the production, this would mean they obviously manufactured more than 5,000! We've been HAD! Ha!

Would it be better to look at and compare the manufacture date posted on the driver's side door jam to determine when/if the 1-2 grind was fixed vs the VIN? Mine says 04/00' and I have not experienced the grind as of yet.
