Now that you mention it ........
But $129.00 US is way too much. I remember seeing much cheaper versions. You know who used to carry these and might still do?
Danny, remember Andres Cycle? On 17th Ave. S.E. just a bit east of 52 st. If you're by there one day ......... (It's sorta close to your place).

www.griotsgarage.com has a nice cup holder (part# 77830) that I mounted on a home made flat aluminum bracket using the factory passenger side mesh pocket mounts. I considered the mesh pocket to be useless compared to a good cup holder!

I found a somewhat easy solution for a cup holder. You can find one of these about anywhere and sometimes they are free.

They average anywhere from 80 to 250 lbs. They come with 2 cup holders, though usually large beverages will only allow one item to be held.

Yep, that's what a girlfriend is for.

This may or may not help.
I needed a big cup holder, not for coffee but for a bottle of water.
I took a 5" long section of black drainage tile that is about 4" in diameter.
I pulled out the net on the left side of the passenger area and forced the tile down into the net. Now whenever I want a drink I just lean over a bit and grab my bottle, it slips right in and out of the drainage tile and the net keep the drainage tile in place. Not a good solution for hot coffee, but works perfect for my water bottle or tall bottles of soda/ice tea.

The Griots garage cup holder has held everything I have thrown at it and is of excellent quality. Costs about $20 including shipping.

Well if you guys want to cheap out on your S2000's critical beverage containment solution, you can get the bottom of the line BCS model for $24.95.
