Another one of the forum members has offered me his Mugen header for $900 bucks. He is a friend and am very tempted to tak it off his hands

What experiences have people had with the Mugen header? Do you feel a difference in power, what sort of dyno gain have people got?

I autocross a lot so I hope that this will give me gain in torque mid range. Desert Rat, who I am planning to buy it from is also a fellow Auto X er and apart from being a great driver has also had good success with his S.

Works well in conjunction with other parts. I felt a huge difference when I installed the Mugen header, ECU, and cooling mods all at once. I doubt it would help much alone.

 

I would not reccomend it based on it's damn price alone. It's also illegal for SCCA stock class auto-x if you care.

 

I love my Mugen header!!
It's a great modification, but it's expensive...

It's a great piece of bolt-on mod. On the dyno it shows 8+ horses in the mid range.
