2yrs later, FINALLY named my s2k!
I had a method for naming my vehicles:
1. The car had to be named after a movie character/singer/actor/famous person
2. The car's personality was extremely important in matching the name
For example:
My 1988 CRX: Ciara
My 1988 Toyota Pickup (like a Tacoma): Pink (it was slightly rednecky with 31's and flat black)
My wife's Mini Cooper: Herbie
And now, thanks to How to Train your Dragon (Go see it),
My s2k: Toothless
(I didn't upload a frontal of my s2k, so someone's awesome car had to stand-in...)

I had a funny experience naming mine. I was talking to my roommate and my Fiance about it and said "the car is sexy, playful, fun, and dependable, However, she will bite you in the ass if you don't treat her right" My roommate replies with "just about every guy knows at least one woman like that growing up" then it hit me, My friend Samantha from when I used to live in NY, it fit her to a T, so the car is now named Sammantha but is often shortened to Sammy
