Default 3 days of ownership and already got hit

A lady swerved across a solid white line last night
and hit me just behind the passenger's door. Based on the pics, is it possible to have just the small area painted rather than the whole panel? Also, my rim ripped her bumper cover off and is fairly scratched up. Assuming it is out of alignment, is it advisable to have the wheel bearings or any other suspension component replaced? Will it show up on Carfax?

Thanks guys

Some pictures not zoomed in so far may help......

But a bodyshop can answer these questions for you.

I assume you documented the accident with a police report?

Also, you should definitely inspect all areas around the damage (suspension components included) but I'd be surprised if any damage was done to the suspension.

Sorry to hear about your troubles

Definitely get the car completely inspected at a bodyshop. I hope you have all her info and have started working with the insurance companies.

This will not show up on Carfax.

Will be getting it inspected by a body shop this week. Got all her info. The cop said that if he did a report, it would show up on my driving record. Took lots of pics at the scene. With such a jarring impact, my gf and I were shocked to see how little damage was done.
Now that I think about it, a hummer would make me feel a bit better.
Thanks for the help.

Will show up on your carfax only if you go through your insurance company.

Hey sorry about your bad luck man. I had my car for alittle more then a week and someone nailed my car in the parking lot at work and ran off. Good luck with your ordeal.

Don't want to get your hopes up but im pretty sure if you go to a competant body shop they wont have to repaint the whole quarter panel. My friend has a silver(w/ metal flake) IS300 and he was backing out of his driveway and skimmed his girlfriends car(damage look very similar to yours) the body shop fixed it w/o having to reapaint the whole quarter and since he went to a good shop I couldnt even notice it at all the flake and everything matched up perfect. Don't know about the wheel though.
