Default 3 years of ownership!

....just a little note to say it's been 3 years and 26k miles of smiles. There have been some complaints written (tranny etc...) but I am happy to say I have had zero problems. I am pleased to inform you she is running strong without a glitch.

I purchased the car on Dec. 4, 1999 at msrp, at the time a bargain!. I've yet to see or drive a vehicle(in this price range and even 20k higher) that I would consider trading in the S for. Although there was a time I considered trading her in on a 01' M3.

Also thanks to the great people here at S2KI for making the journey that much more better(group hug)

See you on the road!

What about Mr Pockets? Has the Evil One taken the S for a spin yet?

this is great stuff. glad to hear your S's are basically trouble free. can everyone PLEASE post a quick reply of your "all is good with my S" at XXXX miles. we could use some happy endings, everyone posts thier problems only and makes the S look bad.

3 years as of 11/30/2002. 33840 miles.

No real problems. Two clutches via TSB54 just for the buzzing noise.

Kinda wished I ran out the 36K miles warranty instead of time but, Oh well.

I'll be hitting the 3-year point in a few days too. I'm a few miles short of 15,000 (my insurance company gives me a break if I drive less than 5000 miles per year). I've had some transmission work and a new rear window installed, all under warranty, but I really have no complaints about the car.

I'm hoping to take a week in May to tour all of the California National Parks. Anybody want to tag along?
