Default 30, 000 Mile Service

I had my 30,000 mile service done yesterday at a local Honda dealer.

The cost was as follows:

Labor - $162.00
Parts - 85.76
Misc. - 10.00
Tax - 15.47
---------------------
Total - $273.23

Here is my complete maintenance log:

I record my service log at the Honda Owner Link site. It's very easy!

I thought about it briefly, but my clutch sounds fine. It seemed like a somewhat complicated procedure and I felt more comfortable just leaving well enough alone.

By now, my three year warranty has expired anyhow.

All that was itemized was labor (2.5 hours) and the individual parts, which included air clear, gasket set (for valve cover), oil and filter, wheel weights (for tire balancing), etc..

I think that this dealer follows the recommendations in the S2000 Technician's Information Guide (not the Owner's Manual).

The reason that I did not do this service myself is that I have neither the time nor the interest. I have followed the same procedure for my 1993 Accord, which still runs as good as new, and has never required any emergency repairs.

How much do they charge for a valve adjustment?

I want one.

I'm not familiar with this. Mine is going in next week for the clutch buzz TSB. Could this be what you are talking about?
