High mileage on a typical car: 100k
High mileage on a s2000: to be determined.... lol
I'm not near there but just under 190k miles now. At 125k I boosted and put down 406whp. Last spring at 185k miles on same dyno but warmer day I put down 403whp. Talk about a strong reliable engine even with boost for a long time!
We have several S2KI members with over 300,000 miles now. That's a true testament to how well this car is built. As of March, 2014 I am at 304,000 miles and still running strong.

I bought my car new. All of those miles are mine.
Only one valve adjustment, done at 200K. Only one valve needed adjusting - an exhaust valve at .012".
Most of my miles are highway miles, which are very easy on the entire car.
