Default 300 miles on one tank?

Well, it took 119 tanks of gas, but I finally hit 300 miles on one tank. I don't know why, but it's been a goal of mine for a long time, and I'm glad I finally was able to do it.

So, is it really common? How many of you have done it? I ended up averaging 26 mpg for the tank of gas, one of my higher tanks ever. Overall, I'm averaging a total of 21.0 mpg over the 26,000 miles I've had the car.

Also, I want to know if anyone has hit 300 miles on one tank with the TOP DOWN 100% of the time .

Hit 300 miles a tank a few times if I'm mostly 90% freeway driving.

I've easily hit at least 320 miles going to vegas from so cal. I still had about 1/4 tank of gas by the time I arrived.

There was also another time when I drove to vegas (same route) and had to refill after about 200 miles. It involved a lot of VTEC hehe.

I have almost 2000 miles on MY07 S2000 and the most I've ever gotten from a full tank of gas was about 270 miles and thats when I was breaking it in. The way I'm driving since I broke in the car, I average about 200 miles per tank.

I've seen 290 once (empty tank light went up around 285 so). 300+ should be doable if i burn the whole tank at 75 mph on cruise control without AC.

300+ is easy for me. Done is many, many times. Top down 100% of the time, and 100% freeway driving.

I've eeked out 340 miles, but I'm confident the car is good for 360.

I still haven't seen 300 on one tank. The closest I got was 298 miles but was too scared to keep going so that I didn't run out of gas. And when I finally did get to the gas station, the pump clicked off at 12.895 gallons... LOL... I was basically running off fumes... haha.
