303 top cleaner
I am sorry. I didn't mean to use that for my paint. My concern is after applying it, how am I gonna to rinse it off my top without it running down the body of the car? I think I am gonna stick with regular soap then.

After it dries you dont have to worry about water making 303 run down your paint. You should wait 24 hrs before washing the top yes but after that its fine. It repels the water, not absorb it and then run. You only have to do it like every three months or so depending on how much you drive your S. Im a daily driver and ive been using 303 for almost a year now, couldnt be more pleased.
Hi mys2000silvia
The directions on the bottle call for rinsing the foam off the top. How am I supposed to do just that? Use a hose or a wet cloth? Thanks for your advice.

samjabori,
I think you're talking about the 303 CLEANER and everyone else is talking about the protectant you'd put on after cleaning. Doesn't seem to me the cleaner would damage paint or they'd have heard about it long before now. I'd just flood the area the cleaner touches with water and since you're probably washing the car anyway, just wash it immediately after cleaning the top.
I haven't used the stuff yet but intend to.

When I rinse it off, I do it to the side, so it drains down the windows. You can either go from th eback so it will drain down the windshield and into the vents. That wont go on the paint.
Other then that I dont have any problems with my paint or anything.

I've used the protectant for years and it has always done a great job and paint problems have never been an issue. If you need convincing get a couple of older s2000's side-by-side (one that has used 303 and one that hasn't). You'll be a pretty quick convert.
